Reason1: Meter installed reversely results in wrong air inlet direction. The wrongly installed left and right inlet meter will fail the metering function. This is a common mistake during installation.

Solution1: Reinstalled the gas meter in the correct direction.

Reason2: Output shaft gear is separated with the counter as a result of intense collision or vibration of the gas meter. This incident is rare during application and has no relation with the product quality.

Solution2: Reinstalled with a new gas meter according to the installation flow.

Reason: The plug which connects the valve is loosen and therefore cannot be closed. As such, gas flows through it even without installation of battery.

Solution: Reinstalled a new gas meter

Reason1: The air passage is closed. a, the exterior pipe controlling valve is closed. b, the shut-off valve is closed. c, valve of gas alarm is closed. Those mentioned are common incidents during usage.

Solution1: Open the exterior pipe controlling valve, shut-off valve, gas alarm valve.

Reason2: IC prepaid gas meter indicates 0 deposit, valve not opened therefore blocked the air.

Solution2: Insert a prepaid card with credit

Reason3: IC prepaid gas meter is unused for a long time causes the valve sticks and thus harder to be opened.

Solution: Installed and remove the battery multiple times. First, install the battery and remove it after the gas volume is indicated. Installed the battery again after the sound of “du-du-du” is heard for continuous three times. Repeat the step for 3 times. If air is still blocked after the above approaches are taken, the valve is spoiled probably. Thus, kindly change the gas meter.

Reason: The IC card prepaid gas meter is designed with anti-interference of external magnetic field to avoid gas stealing. The gas meter will detect the disruption of the external magnetic field and close the valve automatically to disallow gas usage.

• Press the display button or insert the prepaid card. The valve will be opened automatically and the LCD will display message "valve opened". If the "magnetic field disruption protection" does not appear afterwards indicate the issue is caused by the external magnetic field disruption.
• If "Magnetic interference" message reappeared and the valve is closed again, please make sure there are no magnetic objects around the gas meter (such as range hood, pipeline)
• If magnetic objects are removed and the problem persists, remove the gas meter from the pipeline and reinstall the gas meter at a further place. Repeat step 1, if the issue remains unsolved, there is a possible need to replace the gas meter with a new unit.
